Technology Transfer Event for PATCHFILL and SETUCARE (MBIU), 5th December, 2014, CSIR-CRRI, New Delhi

Technology Management and Business Development Department (TMBD) of CRRI has taken an initiative to transfer technologies for SETUCARE (total no. of Companies is two) and for PATCHFILL (total no. of companies is four) developed at our institute viz: Mobile Bridge Inspection Unit (MBIU) and PATCHFILL.

SETUCARE: the Mobile Inspection Unit (MBIU) is an electro – mechanical device mounted on a truck which provides access to hidden parts of bridges or similar infrastructures for their proper inspection.
PATCHFILL: this is an invention of machine mainly for quick, safe and economic repair of potholes, which have been always problem for Indian roads.
Regardless of its small size it yet provides effective results and the efficiency could match to any of the giant machine serving the same purpose.
