Walking Profiler
The Walking Profiler is a precision instrument designed to collect surface profile data. These data can be used to accurately assess the characteristics and quality of any continuous paved surface. Typically the surface profile is used to generate a number of internationally recognized roughness index, ride quality and pavement maintenance indices etc.
It is a precision surveying tool which is designed to operate at a moderate and steady walking pace in a straight line. The equipment has an integral Control Unit which provides all the functions of instrument calibration, survey setup and operator feedback. Like Dipstick, it also directly gives International Roughness Index in m/km.
