Expansion Joint Testing
Facilities are being created at CSIR-CRRI under MORTH Research Scheme B-34 for the following:
- Testing of raw materials used in the fabrication of expansion joints such as chloroprene and steel
- Performance evaluation of expansion joints by -
- cyclic motion test
- debris expulsion test
- Pullout test
- Opening movement vibration test and
- fatigue test and
- seal push out test
